Chelsea slipped at home for the 26th round of the Premier League. In the reception to Leeds United, the «blues» did not go beyond a draw (2-2). The London team even let a two-goal lead slip away. João Pedro, Brazilian striker, opened the game for the home team in the 20th minute. In the second half, Chelsea extended the lead to two goals. Cole Palmer scored with a penalty (58m). Portuguese international Pedro Neto came off the bench in the 64th minute. Leeds' response was not long in coming. Lukas Nmecha, also from a penalty, reduced the deficit (67m). Okafor, formerly of Milan, jumped off the bench to score the equalizer (73m). Cole Palmer had the great opportunity to give the Blues the triumph. However, when it came to scoring, the Englishman failed unbelievably. I could have scored twice and given the team three points. With this result (2-2), Chelsea remain in fifth with 44 points. Leeds, in turn, is 15th with 30 points. Tottenham continues its poor run in the Premier League – the London team hasn't won in eight rounds. At home to Newcastle, Spurs lost 2-1. The "Magpies" came out with everything and saw Joe Willock's goal disallowed for offside. However, even before the break, the away team even opened the scoring. Malick Thiaw, German defender, gave Newcastle the lead in added time (45+5m). At half-time Thomas Frank made João Palhinha jump off the bench. With the Portuguese on the field, Tottenham equalized with Archie Gray's goal (64m). Still, equality was short-lived. Jacob Ramsey put Newcastle ahead again three minutes later (67m). With this defeat (2-1), Tottenham drops to 16th place with 29 points. Newcastle, in turn, rises to tenth place with 36 points. In the other game of the night, Bournemouth went to Everton to win (2-1). Evanilson, formerly of FC Porto, was a starter for the Cherries. On Everton's side, Portuguese-Guinean Beto came on during the second half. Ndiaye, with a penalty, put Everton ahead on the scoreboard (42m). In the second half, reinforcement Rayan, ex-Vasco, put everything on par (61m). The Brazilian scored for the second consecutive game for Bournemouth. Amine Adli, a Moroccan international, scored shortly afterwards the goal that would give the visitors the victory (64m).
