Sonia Bompastor has extended her connection to Chelsea with a new contract, valid until 2030, the Blues announced this Friday. Last season, her first at Chelsea after several years at Lyon, the Portuguese-French coach led the London team to the treble, winning the English championship, FA Cup and English League Cup. In 2024/25, Chelsea did not lose any game in domestic competitions. This season, Bompastor, 45, has had more difficulties. Chelsea is third in the English league, with 27 points, 12 behind leader Manchester City.
