Francisco Cabral, in a pair with Austrian Lucas Miedler, secured this Friday their presence in the final of the doubles variant of the ATP 250 tournament in Brisbane, Australia.
The third seeds got the better of the French Sadio Doumbia and Fabien Reboul, pre-designated sixth, with scores of 7-6, 4-6 and 10-7, after a balanced match that lasted for almost two hours.
In the final, the Portuguese-Austrian duo will face the winners of the clash between the British Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool and the Czechs Tomas Machac and Matej Vocel.
Francisco Cabral and Lucas Miedler, a duo formed in April 2025, closed last season by winning their third ATP title of the year, in Athens, after triumphs in Gstaad and Hangzhou.
