A very gifted Gil Dias. This is how the 29-year-old winger is this season. The accurate pass he made for one of Famalicão's goals against Estrela da Amadora (2-3), in the 16th and penultimate round of the first round of the League, a duel that took place on December 27th, made Gil Dias reach five assists this season. And that mark means the left-hander's best in his entire career. The record, moreover, had been going on for a few years: in 2016/2017, the former youth international for Portugal had received four offers in a single campaign, in a year in which he represented Rio Ave, on loan from French side Monaco, and in which in the 39 matches he played for the Vila Condenses he also scored eight goals — a goalscoring streak that to this day remains the most accurate in the player's already long career. Now, in the second consecutive season serving the blue and whites of Minho — in what is his second spell at the club, as he had already played for Vila Nova in 2020/2021, at the time on loan from the Monegasques —, Gil Dias seems to be willing to overcome his next horizons. If he has already achieved this in terms of assists, in terms of goals he has legitimate aspirations: he has already scored on two occasions... but the season is still halfway through. The left-hander promises to continue to do well.
