Portugal beat Bosnia in the preparation for the European Championship (8-1). In Oeiras, in the Porto Salvo Lions pavilion, Jorge Braz bet on Edu, André Coelho, Pany Varela, Tiago Brito and Rúben Góis from the start, while Pauleta was left out due to physical management. Although the Bosnians opened the scoring through Amir Barucija in the first minute, Tiago Brito restored equality in the fourth minute. Among Portuguese opportunities, Brito served Bruno Coelho for the turnaround at 14m. Three minutes later, Lúcio Rocha made it 3-1. In the second half, Pany Varela took advantage of Bosnia's erratic construction, made it 4-1 and dedicated the goal to the injured Zicky Té. 25 minutes had passed. Until the end, Góis (33m) and Diogo Santos (35m) also scored, while Luís Rocha achieved the hat-trick with two goals in the 37th minute. Portugal and Bosnia will meet again on Sunday (6pm), this time at the FPF Arena. The Seleção begins the defense of the 2018 and 2022 titles on January 24, against Italy. The “Quinas” are in Group D, in the company of Poland, Hungary and Italy. The tournament will take place in Slovenia until February 7th.
