O Manchester United drew 1-1 with the bottom team in the English League and missed the chance to climb to fifth place. If, at the beginning of the month, United had thrashed Wolverhampton, this time Ruben Amorim's team had a much more difficult task ahead. Between absences from CAN and injuries, such as that of Bruno Fernandes, Amorim returned to 4-4-2 and practically ran out of solutions on the bench. Senne Lammens and José Sá held the tie with two monstrous saves, even before Amorim launched young Bendito Mantato, just 17 years old, who made his debut for the main team. In the 90th minute, Dorgu still put the ball in the goal, following a Sesko shot saved by José Sá, but the goal was disallowed due to the Dane's offside, who had been a hero in the victory against Newcastle. With this draw, United did not take advantage of the Chelsea result and remains in sixth. The Old Trafford team is ranked sixth, with 30 points, the same as the Blues. Wolverhampton, on the other hand, adds the first point after Vítor Pereira and remains in last place, practically condemned to relegation.
