After another year of great football, it's time to remember the great games that marked 2025. From the Nations League final, won by Portugal, to Sporting's second championship, after a triumph over V. Guimarães (2-0) in Alvalade. In everyone's memory remains the tribute to Diogo Jota, in Liverpool's first friendly match against Preston North End, a few weeks after the accident that killed the Portuguese international. Highlights include the game between Manchester United and Lyon (5-4), in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, which had nine goals and many comebacks, as well as Benfica's defeat against Qarabag, decisive for Bruno Lage's departure and José Mourinho's return to Luz.
