The Arbitration Council of the Portuguese Football Federation announced this Friday the nominations for the semi-final games of the League Cup, which will be played on the 6th and 7th of January.
The meeting between Sporting and V. Guimarães, on the 6th, will be led by Luís Godinho, referee from AF Évora. Rui Teixeira and Pedro Mota will be the assistants, while Hélder Carvalho will act as fourth referee. The video referee will be Pedro Ferreira, with Nuno Eiras as VAR assistant.
The other semi-final, which pits Benfica and SC Braga face to face, will have João Pinheiro as the main referee. The AF Braga judge will have Bruno Jesus and Luciano Maia as assistants, with Bruno Costa being the fourth referee. VAR will be in charge of Bruno Esteves, assisted by Jonathan Babo.
