A very physical first half, with many clashes and many fouls, with Andreas Pereira leaving injured after 12 minutes, following a harsh tackle by Igor Vinícius. The first clearest opportunity even came from Santos, with Lautaro Díaz heading Barreal's cross, but the ball went to Khellven's back. However, it was Palmeiras who reached the goal, in the 40th minute, with Allan launching Flaco López with a through ball and the Argentine returning it, with a delayed pass, for Allan to finish. A great goal to put Verdão in front. The second half was even more intense, with Santos, still without Neymar and with Gabigol on the bench, looking for a draw, but with a Palmeiras team with few defensive flaws and an inspired Carlos Miguel between the posts, canceling out good opportunities from Robinho and Miguelito. With this second victory, Palmeiras stands out at the top of the table, with a maximum of six points, ahead of Primavera and Velo Clube, both with four, but can still be reached by Corinthians who, this Thursday, face Bragantino.
