Nikola Jokic was injured in the Denver Nuggets’ defeat against the Miami Heat (147-123), last night, in the NBA.
Shortly before half-time, the Serbian basketball player was stepped on by teammate Spencer Jones and was immediately left holding his left knee on the ground, before leaving the field limping towards the changing rooms.
Nuggets coach David Adelman did not clarify the severity of the injury. “All I know is that Jokic has an injury to his left knee and that the procedures have to be followed. He immediately realized something was wrong.»
Jokic left the game with 21 points, five rebounds and eight assists.
