White House advisors asked FIFA that the trophy for the organization's new Peace Prize, recently created to reward Donald Trump, be at least the size of the original World Cup cup, writes this Friday the The Times. According to the newspaper, people close to the President of the United States were consulted about the gold trophy, as well as about the controversial ceremony surrounding the draw for the race, this month. The winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, for example, only received a medal, while Trump received the trophy, a medal and even a FIFA certificate. The White House's original idea, reports the publication, was for the two American Marines who carried the peace trophy to be next to the US leader when he received the award, but FIFA did not agree.
