The news of the day is not just what happened, but what is yet to happen. With this weekend’s results, Real Madrid (1st), Valence Basket (2nd) and Barca (3rd) guaranteed the seed position for the draw. But who will be the fourth “ogre” that will avoid the big guys in the quarterfinals?
The answer is in the air and takes us back to the past: to the postponed game of the 10th round between Dreamland Gran Canaria Yes Basconia.
The situation is heart-stopping:
UCAM Murcia sleeps in fourth place today with a balance of 11-6 after losing in extra time against Unicajá.
Basconiawho fulfilled his duties by beating the combative Joventut (87-77), is fifth with 11-5 and one game in hand.
Are the accounts clear: Yes Basconia winning the pending match on the island will snatch fourth place and top seed status from the university students. If those of Victory they lose, the UCAM Murcia will maintain its privileged fourth place.
