Nuno Santos, remember, was injured on October 26, 2024, during the visit to Famalicão (Leonine victory 3-0): he suffered a complete rupture of the patellar tendon in his right knee and had to undergo surgery, facing a long recovery period.
In January of this year, he finally did integrated training, as Rui Borges had anticipated in the middle of last month: «Nuno Santos I believe that next week he will be able to start training with us. I’ll be very happy if it happens, I’m almost sure it will happen.”
