Kenneth Taylor, a product of the Ajax formation, will leave the Dutch club for Lazio. After much speculation in the Italian press, the Rome-based club shared an image of the player already wearing a club scarf. The transfer should be made official by both clubs in the next few hours. The Italian press guarantees that the Dutch midfielder will cost 17 million euros to Lazio's coffers. Taylor was, admittedly, one of FC Porto's biggest targets in the summer transfer market. He worked with Francesco Farioli at Ajax and it was an option for the club if Rodrigo Mora left. He himself admitted that the first day after the market closed was “difficult”, when asked about the interest from FC Portoa “big club”. Taylor's arrival replaces the departure of Mattéo Guendouzi to Fenerbahçe, on the same day that the club also announced Petar Ratkov.
