Ferrari has officially confirmed the hiring of Guillaume Dezoteux, who now leads the team's single-seater performance department. Monday was the first day of work in Maranello, after 18 years spent at Red Bull's second Formula 1 team. For the last two seasons, Dezoteux was at the head of the team responsible for single-seater performance at Racing Bulls and, before that, at Faenza, he was performance engineer and chief engineer. Guillaume's CV also includes a two-year stint at Michelin, when the French giant supplied tires to Formula 1. Dezoteux thanked his Racing Bulls colleagues on LinkedIn for their collaboration, and according to information from the Italian press, his hiring was a personal decision by Frédéric Vasseur. Dezoteux will work together with Diego Dondi and Frank Sanchez, being responsible for the performance of the team's single-seaters on the track and will have the mission of ensuring the transposition of simulator and wind tunnel results to real circuit conditions.
