Practically a year after running over former footballer Jordan Chiedozie while driving drunk, Anna Bogusiewicz was sentenced to a 28-month prison sentence and was banned from driving for a period of three years. The accident happened on February 1, 2025, on a highway in the county of Hampshire, of which Southampton is the largest city. When returning from a game for Bashley, in the seventh tier of English football, Chiedozie was run over, on the side of the road, while changing a tire on the vehicle he was traveling in. The accident forced Chiedozie, 31, to have his right leg amputated and caused open fractures in his left leg and a fractured pelvis. Convicted of dangerous driving and under the influence of alcohol (practically double the legal limit in England), Anna Bogusiewicz will still have to get her driving license again when the three-year disqualification period is up. Trained at Bournemouth, Chiedozie enjoyed a career at clubs in the lower echelons of English football.
