Boavista is facing one of the most delicate moments in its history. After a last opportunity granted by the court and creditors, the club has until Monday to deposit 55 thousand euros into the insolvent estate account, an amount corresponding to December's monthly expenses. If it does not do so, the Insolvency Administrator will have the power to order the end of Boavista without the need for a new meeting of creditors, as read in the minutes of the Meeting of Creditors of the 16th, which THE BALL had access. At this meeting of creditors, 76.81% of voters approved a proposal that conditions Boavista's continuity on strict compliance with monthly financial obligations. In addition to the immediate deposit of 55 thousand euros, the club will have to guarantee, in the following months (January, February and March), amounts of 96 thousand euros plus the monthly expenses indicated by the insolvency administrator. Failure to comply with any of these conditions will result in the automatic closure of the club, with effect from 15 days after the decision. Faced with this situation, Boavista launched a public fundraising campaign, but so far, according to our newspaper, no funds have been received.
