Tomás Händel scored in Red Star's victory in the round of 16 of the Serbian Cup, on a visit to modest Buducnost Dobanovci – in the third division. The 25-year-old midfielder (ex-V. Guimarães) scored the visitors' last goal in the 83rd minute (4-1), achieving his second goal of the season. Before, in the 6th and 54th minutes, Bruno Duarte also scored. Therefore, the Brazilian striker – former Farense and Vitória de Guimarães – registered 14 goals in the season. In this way, Estrela Vermelha joins Vojvodina, Krusevac, Jedinstvo, Graficar, Zemun, Macva and Novi Pazar in the quarter-finals. Red Star has held the trophy since 2021.
