The complete schedule of games for the first round has been defined, after the end of the first phase of the II National Division, on Saturday: Sporting (holders of the competition) will visit Valpaços and Benfica will visit Barbarense. The first phase of the competition brings together 16 clubs: the 12 from the League, according to their classification at the end of the first round, plus the two best classified from each of the two series of the II National Division at the end of the first phase. It should be remembered that Benfica, at the end of the first round of the League (11 rounds) was the leader, followed by Sporting, something that still happens after 14 rounds. The eagles visit the second place in series B of Division II and the lions the second place in series A of II Division. Leões de Porto Salvo, third in the League, visits Portimonense, winner of Series B of Division II. Rio Ave visits Arsenal Maia, who finished first in Series A of the II Division.
