Jonas Vingegaard suffered a fall, this Monday, while carrying out another training session to prepare for the new season, in Malaga. Through a statement, Visma assured that the cyclist did not suffer "serious" injuries, also asking fans to put everyone's safety first. Now, it all happened when Vingegaard was being followed by a fan in that area of Spain and tried to overtake him on a descent. As described by Pedro García Fernández, an amateur cyclist, on a social network, the Dane wanted to descend quickly to leave him behind. Read Visma's statement here: “Jonas Vingegaard suffered a fall during training on Monday. Fortunately, he is ok and did not suffer any serious injuries. Overall, as a team, we would like to ask cycling fans to always put safety first. For your own well-being and that of others, please allow cyclists to train and give them as much space and quiet as possible.”
