FC Porto ended the round of 16 of the Portuguese Cup with a resounding victory against CAB Madeira, 103-61 (26-10, 21-19, 36-18 and 20-14). Facing one of the best teams in the second division, the Dragons had the amulets in the Americans Allen-Williams (18 points) and Dunn (17 points and 10 rebounds). For the hosts, Bernardo Ferreira was the best, with 18 points. Thus, FC Porto – winner of the Portuguese Cup in 2025 and 2024 – visits Esgueira on Sunday (6pm), a week after losing at this opponent's stadium, in a duel counting for the championship. The quarterfinals of the Portuguese Cup will also be played on Saturday, with Ovarense-Sporting (4pm) and Oliveirense-Queluz (6pm). On Sunday, Sp. Braga visits Galitos Barreiro at 4pm, while Esgueira hosts FC Porto at 6pm.
