Francisco Cabral is out of the Australian Open and there are no longer any Portuguese representatives in the competition. The Portuguese tennis player lost, last night, in the second round of the men's doubles variant and in the initial round of the mixed doubles variant, of the first Grand Slam tournament of the season. Together with the Austrian Lucas Miedler, Cabral was defeated by the Czech Adam Pavlasek and the home tennis player John Patrick Smith in two ends, by double 6-4, in a match that lasted one hour and 15 minutes. In the mixed doubles variant, Francisco Cabral and home tennis player Ellen Perez were defeated by another local tennis player, Storm Hunter, and Monegasque Hugo Nys in three parts, 1-6, 6-3 and 10-4, in a match lasting one hour and five minutes.
