Liga Forte União (LFU) will complete R$1.5 billion in resources related to TV rights for the Brazilian Series A to be distributed to clubs and investors. The League understands, internally, that there has been an increase in the amount paid on average to teams.
Of this amount, between 10% and 20% of each club’s share is allocated to investors from Sports Media, a group led by Carlos Gamboa. Most teams ended up selling about a tenth of their rights.
Thus, the total actually allocated to the clubs is around R$1.350 billion to R$1.4 billion.
