Académica received and beat Vitória de Guimarães’ B team, 1-0, in the game that marked the start of the League 3 champion qualification phase.
The only goal of the match was scored by captain Leandro Silva, in the 58th minute, after a great pass from Beni Souza, who is on loan from Benfica to the students.
Académica, therefore, leads the climb phase alone, but under condition. This Saturday, Varzim-Amarante and Belenenses-Trofense will compete.
In the next round, Académica visits Amarante, while V. Guimarães B hosts Belenenses.
