“How is it possible that we have so many unemployed people and I can’t find people to work? There are no plumbers, electricians or bricklayers. There are people who receive benefits and unemployed people who don’t want to work”

In one of his latest TikTok videos, the mechanic Angel Gaitán harshly criticized the aid system that our country currently offers and, bluntly, he presented a drastic solution that, in his opinion, would ensure that the number of unemployed people translated into people who actually want to start working.

“Before They told me the problem was the salarythat the problem was the schedule, that the problem was where you looked for the staff, that I couldn’t find staff making videos on social media and it’s been some time since I started hiring agencies to hire staff. But now I’m on a project that It’s taking much longer than I would like due to lack of bricklayers.“

“How is it possible that we have so many unemployed people and that I can’t find people to work? How is it possible that I have to be the first and leave last, solving problems that have nothing to do with my work, because there is no plumber, no electrician or no bricklayer? How is it possible that there are people receiving aid and unemployed and not wanting to work? How is this possible? “Where are we going?” Gaitán asked in the video.

“If someone presented me with a maintenance project for these two warehouses at the time I wanted, with my parking space, working inside, without cold, without heat, in winter and summer, without getting wet when it rains, and The only thing they ask me is not to smoke inside, not to get drunk and to be formal And on top of that, they pay me more than I’m earning where I am, I wouldn’t think twice”, assured the mechanic.

“I would leave, but what is happening? That even offering I can’t find anyone. And you’ll say ‘well, something’s going to happen’. No. When I say I don’t find anyone it’s for growth, as I have a wonderful team that took years to build. But like me, There will be many companies that try to grow and fail“, he assured.

“So, it’s very difficult. It’s not impossible, because if you have to learn masonry tasks you also learn. But then the growth will be slower and, honestly, it will be a little more exasperating and more frustrating. But the message is not about that. The message is about what needs to happen in Spain so that people can leave their comfort zone and be able to work.“, insisted the content creator.

“I explain to you very clearly: remove absolutely all help that exists and if people are hungry, they will movewill wake up. I’ve said this many times: Only those who cannot work because they have a disability need help.. What we have now with this thing about payments also for children over 23 who live with their parents and all that, the only thing we’re doing is encouraging the lazy“Gaitán criticized again in the video.
