The triumphs over Denmark and Romania – in addition to the draw with North Macedonia – earned Portugal qualification for the “Main Round” of Euro 2026, a phase in which they will face France, Germany, Spain, Denmark and Norway. In Group 1, the Seleção starts with two points, thanks to the unprecedented victory over the Danes, equal to France and Germany. In turn, Spain, Norway and Denmark start with zero points. The “Heroes of the Sea” begin the next phase on Thursday afternoon, against Germany (2:30 pm). On Saturday there is a duel with France (2:30 pm), while Norway appears on the calendar on Monday (2:30 pm). Finally, there is an Iberian duel with Spain on January 28th (2:30 pm).
