The handball game between Avanca and FC Porto, on the 18th round of the League, was postponed due to bad weather and rescheduled from Tuesday to March 14th. «Originally scheduled for 9pm on Tuesday at the Pavilhão Municipal Adelino Dias Costa, the handball game between AA Avanca and FC Porto was postponed due to weather conditions that made it impossible to use the venue», can be read in a statement from the Dragons. According to the runners-up in the League, the home game against Artística de Avanca, ninth placed, was scheduled for another Tuesday (March 14), «at a time yet to be defined». The postponement of the clash at the pavilion comes two days after Avanca were defeated, due to lack of attendance, in the reception to Benfica, for the round of 32 of the Portuguese Cup, due to the impracticality of the venue in Avanca. On Sunday, Avanca regretted the insensitivity of the Portuguese Handball Federation and Benfica's attitude, due to what happened the day before, when the game that started on Wednesday, in Estarreja, was resumed, but interrupted after five minutes, when the Reds were winning 4-2.
