Aluron Warta Zawiercie, owned by Miguel Tavares Rodrigues, came in third place. In Belém, the Brazilian city where the Club World Cup took place, Perugia, the reigning European champion, won the final by scores of 25-20, 25-21 and 29-27. In this way, he lifted the trophy for the third time, in the third final he played.
