With the game already resolved - Sporting's rout of Vitória in Guimarães (4-1) -, there was still time at the end of the match for Nélson Oliveira to be sent off. The former Benfica player came on in the 67th minute, but ended up receiving a straight red card 20 minutes later. At issue was a strike by the striker on Gonçalo Inácio, after a duel for possession of the ball in midfield. The referee had no doubts and immediately showed the card, which left the player quite frustrated, but the decision was confirmed by VAR.
