This Friday, Marseille made official the signing of midfielder Quinten Timber, ex-Feyenoord. The Dutch international arrives in France after three and a half seasons at Feyenoord. The Rotterdam club's departure is marked by a disagreement with coach Robin van Persie, although both have already assured that the matter has been resolved. The coach had removed the armband from the 24-year-old player and criticized his attitude in training, which led to Timber's reaction to the press. Timber, who played 24 games this season (three goals and five assists), signed until 2030 for Marseille, third in the French championship. According to the international press, the deal was closed for just 4.5 million euros (plus bonuses), because the Dutch midfielder's contract ended in June.
