With this result against the last placed team (no points scored yet), FC Porto, current two-time national champion, now has 22 points in the championship and now has four less than Sporting, who closes the podium with 26 and tied this Sunday in Luz with leader Benfica (31). Also noteworthy is Óquei de Barcelos' 11-5 defeat at CH Carvalhos, which with this triumph reached 27 points and has even one game less than Benfica. UD Oliveirense was surprised 6-4 against SC Tomar.
