Spain beat Italy 4-0, this Sunday, in the European Futsal Championship, moving on to the semi-finals, where they will face Croatia. The first placed team in Group C started to impose their game rhythm against Italy. Francisco Cortés, midway through the first half, opened the scoring (12m) and put the Spanish team up 1-0. Just before half-time, Antonio Pérez increased 'la roja''s lead at 20m (2-0). In the second half, the Italian team was unable to change the story of the game and Antonio Pérez, in a quick counterattack, made it 3-0 at 26m. The Barcelona regular scored twice in the match. To close the game, Gabriel Motta arrived, however he hit his own goal at 36m and closed the result at 4-0.
