Benfica's General Assembly Board informed this Saturday, through a statement, that it will extend the voting period for members on the Benfica District until 9pm. A decision taken in response to the many requests for clarification during the Extraordinary General Assembly, many of them made through digital means, but also due to “technical constraints online”, following the flow of fans who accessed the platform. Therefore, the final vote on the Benfica District project will be extended until 9pm, both in person, in Pavilion no. 2, but also on the club's website and application. «There are a lot of people trying to vote and I ask these members to understand any constraints that may exist in voting time, given that the conditions for members to vote are technically assured. The fact that it is announced that voting ends at 5:30 pm does not mean that it ends at that time, anyone who registers to vote in advance, here in the queue or on the website, will vote. The closing date of a GA is not definitive», clarified the president of MAG José Pereira da Costa.
