(updating) Kazakh tennis player Elena Rybakina won the Australian Open this Saturday, beating Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, by two sets to one, in the final held in Melbourne. Rybakina, number five in the WTA rankings, beat the current leader of the world rankings with scores of 6-4, 4-6 and 6-4, in two hours and 19 minutes of play. Kazakh since 2018, 26-year-old Rybakina, born in Moscow, won her second Grand Slam title in the third final.
