Luis Enrique did nothing more than convince Nasser Al-Khelaïfi since he arrived PSG in the summer of 2023. The titles won – including the long-awaited Champions League – and the Asturian’s personality filled the Parisian club’s board of directors with confidence, who from the first moment, like Luis Enrique himself, said he hoped the agreement would last for many years.
And it seems that everything is heading in that direction. And recently the French media outlet ‘Le Parisien’ exclusively announced that negotiations between the club and the coach have already begun. The objective is clear: the extension of Luis Enrique’s contract at the Parc des Princes. The former Barça player has signed until the summer of 2027 and, although there is no rush as there is time to sort out his future, Paris wants to tie him down before this summer.
