Tiago Margarido pointed to Nacional’s victory over Casa Pia in the 21st round of the League, in a duel scheduled for Sunday (3:30 pm). In a press conference, the coach of the Madeirans – 11th in the championship – warned about the motivation of the “Gansos” and 15th placed, given the recent home victory over FC Porto.
National in a good moment
«It was a team that, until then, had not had very favorable results. This victory against FC Porto obviously gives them motivation and belief that they can have a positive result here in Madeira. We had two excellent performances, both against Rio Ave and against Sporting, in Alvalade, so I think we are going through a good moment.”
League at Choupana
«The weather conditions always have a great influence on what the game is like. The wind is something that greatly interferes with the teams’ performance, as does the issue of wet terrain.”
