Paulo Alves left the technical command of Al Batin, an emblem that occupies 18th and last place in the second division of Saudi Arabia. Hired at the beginning of December, the Portuguese coach recorded five defeats and two draws – four consecutive defeats – meaning Al Batin has recorded 12 defeats and four draws in 16 matches.
The Saudi club terminated the contract with Paulo Alves, 56 years old, and Henry Makinwa – a former Nigerian striker, with dual Portuguese nationality – took over interim command.
