Raphinha will miss Barcelona’s trip to the Basque Country, this Sunday, to face Real Sociedad, due to a problem in his right thigh.
The 29-year-old striker had been working in a conditioned manner after having suffered a tougher tackle in the game against Racing Santander, last Thursday, for the Copa del Rey.
Hansi Flick, coach of the Catalans, preferred to play it safe and, as a precaution, crossed out the Brazilian international’s name from the squad for the meeting with Real Sociedad, so that he can fully recover from the problem.

In addition to Raphinha, Gavi and Andreas Christensens are also left out of the game at Anoeta due to injury. On the other hand, Frenkie De Jong returns to the Barça squad, after being suspended in the match against Racing Santander.
Real Sociedad-Barcelona, from the 20th round of the Spanish League, will start at 8pm, at Anoeta.
